Q&A With Mrs. Eccles

By: Happiness B.

What music do you listen to?

I listen mainly to Contemporary, Christian, and Country music

When did you realize you wanted to work with kids?

I realized my interest in working with kids after traveling with my high school youth group to build homes for families. I initially thought I was intended to work with younger children, but soon realized my true calling was with tweens and teens. I enjoy reading and watching movies, but I prefer just spending time with my family. Raising three beautiful children, the oldest of which worked in third grade and coached cheer-leading.

Wood painting, wood working, and calligraphy.

Dream vacation place?

Cote D’lvoire , Africa. I’d like to return after I previously visited while on a church mission for 10 days, during which I worked with children’s leaders and in community churches.

Favorite football team?

The Arizona Cardinals.

Any pets?

Two dogs, four horses, and a bunny.

Do you any words of wisdom for students?

Only that you’re here for a purpose, so take advantage of all chances and opportunities to grow, learn, and serve others. It will help you develop into a mature young person.
