ISABELLA S. - CORNELL SCHOOL OF HOTEL ADMINISTRATION

I was a senior with less than three months to raise my ACT score by at least 6 points - a score that would make me a competitive applicant for my dream school, the #1-Ranked Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration. Everyone, including me, thought it would be impossible. Sean has three mantras-keep an open mind, stay positive, and never give up. Sean and the others tutors at Personalized Prep refused to give up on me, even when I was ready to give up on myself.

"We were a team that laughed and learned together, making the impossible happen. I will be attending cornell university, class of 2022."

Chase R. - USC Class of 2022

Sean is not afraid to communicate with blunt honesty, building the trust needed for long-term growth. He possesses intellect in a vast array of disciplines, has an unparalleled work ethic, and determination to see those around him succeed. Personally, I appreciate that we were always a team, learning and growing together.

Kent Y. - southern methodist university, CLASS OF 2022

The strategies taught at Personalized Prep were much more efficient and beneficial than the ones I learned in high school. Personalized Prep teaches test-taking strategies that made me aware of the psychology behind the test and the reasons test-makers include certain questions on the ACT. Ultimately, I saw that the ACT was not really all that bad - a game of riddles I just needed to navigate my way through. Tutoring with Personalized Prep helped me increase my score from a 20 to a 30 on the ACT, and I will be attending SMU next year to double major in finance and sports management.

SAGE HILL SCHOOL PARENT - USC CLASS OF 2019 AND 2022

I am inspired by an individual who goes far beyond the basic equation or formula - Sean's passion for knowledge and respect for problem-solving is evident. Sean has inspired all of my children with his enthusiasm in pursuit of intellect and success both inside and outside the classroom.

BRENNIN T. - UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA, CLASS OF 2023

My college counselors told me a 4-year University would be a “reach” upon my graduation. They suggested I apply to junior college and transfer after 2 years. Sean told me to ignore the “doubters.” His unwavering faith that I could achieve the test scores and grades necessary to get into a 4 year college, made me believe it too. I am much more passionate about my education now, knowing that someone out there believes in me. I am now enjoying life at my “reach school,” The University of Arizona.

Conner U. - Dartmouth College, Class of 2019

The inner debate over my career pursuits have been at a constant impasse throughout my time in college. Even though I was no longer tutoring with Sean, I still reached out for guidance and received his unconditional support and clarity of my passions in life. This peace of mind is invaluable, and it shows how much Sean truly cares for everyone part of the Personalized Prep family.
