What is this supposed to mean?
Claiming that the CoLab is an enabling space means a variety of things. For example:
- The CoLab is the environment in which stuff happens. It is not the projects themselves but the space in which they happen.
- The CoLab is designed to keep some things out and let other things in (as with all spaces, there are boundaries).
- The CoLab lets certain things in because they support and facilitate the realisation of the initiatives and projects the people that work in the CoLab want to realise
- The CoLab keeps certain things out because they will hinder the flourishing of projects and initiatives.
- The CoLab is based on the idea that there are initiatives and projects in the permaculture movement that are waiting to come forth. They are just waiting for the right conditions to emerge. The CoLab intents to create some of the conditions.
- Conditions for emergence means also that things are NOT forced into existence. Top-down, command and control, pouring money at a "problem", etc. is not our style.
