Mrs. Jasiewicz's Math
Class Information
Welcome to Math Class!
I am very excited to be one of your teachers this year. I feel passionate about creating a welcoming and comfortable learning environment for all students, so my goals are to help you become lifelong learners and respectful collaborators. Each person that enters this site and Room 215 is an integral part of our classroom community, and I cannot wait to work with everyone this year. Be sure to click the Home arrow at the top, right corner of the page to access pertinent links regarding our Math classes throughout the school year.
A Little Bit About Me
I grew up in McKeesport, PA and currently live in Irwin with my husband, three children, and dog. I knew I wanted to be a teacher since the second grade and am truly grateful to be living out my passion. I started my career in the McKeesport Area School District teaching second and fourth grade and recently taught fifth grade for several years in the Hempfield Area School District. I was thrilled to join the Warrior team as an SLA three years ago at Harrison Park Elementary. Last year I had the opportunity to begin teaching full time again in a fifth grade at McCullough.
Educational Background
I attended Penn State University during my undergraduate years of college and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. I also graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Masters degree in Special Education and am certified to teach middle school Math and Science. My passion for learning and education is ongoing, so I am looking forward to continuing to learn and grow with you this school year.
