Dear Families, 

My name is Mrs. Deana Rocca and I am so excited to be your child’s 1st Grade teacher! I live in Harrison City with my husband, three children and our dog, Winnie. 

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at Grove City College and my Master’s Degree in Reading Education at the University of Pittsburgh. I have 17 years of classroom teaching experience, ranging from preschool to 6th grade. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, cooking, baking, tap dancing, watching sports and visiting the beach and Disney World.

My goal is to develop of love of learning in each student through a structured, yet fun, teaching environment. I know we will have lots of fun together in class!
