Bass clef note reading is introduced and students learn how to build basic chords. Students continue to demonstrate their understanding through performing on xylophones, keyboards, and tone chimes. Additionally, they will learn more chords on the Ukulele and new accompaniment strumming patterns.

Students study music theory more in depth and complete composition projects. Students will create a 21st century piece utilizing beats and loops, plus self written lyrics. An emphasis is placed on the form of the song.
