New Law Provides More Guardianship Rights for Relatives
State Representative Perry Warren reports that a new Pennsylvania law allows courts to grant temporary guardianship to grandparents, aunts and uncles, or adult siblings of a minor child when the child's parents are not able to care for them due to entering drug or alcohol treatment. Guardianship would be granted in 90-day increments for up to one year. Click here for more information.
