“Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.”
Maya Angelou
The week of February 13th - 19th is Random Act of Kindness Week - RAK -(but we like to celebrate EVERYDAY)!
What can YOU do to make someone's day better? The possibilities are endless!
Here are just a few ideas: make a handmade card of appreciation, have a judgement free day (try to be mindful of this everyday!), cheer on a teammate, bake cookies for a friend, walk your neighbors dog, pick up trash from the side of the road, a nature trail, a park, etc., smile at someone in the hallway (we know you are smiling under your masks!), compliment someone, pay for the person behind you in line for coffee, say ‘I love you’ to your family and friends, be encouraging, help someone, volunteer, express your gratitude, stick up for someone, be honest, hold the door for someone, or take the time to listen.
P.S. Remember to be kind to yourself too! In all of existence, there will only be ONE of you...you are important! #selfcare

/ˈempəTHē/
noun
1. the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
Sometimes a story is the best way to walk in someone else shoes! Stories can offer you a "window" to places you have not visited, introduce you to new ways of thinking, or present you with characters that are different from you. Stories can also be “mirrors” to help you feel less alone in the world by reading about people who struggle with the same issues as you.
