Unfortunately, you are not eligible to register with Vista Virtual School (VVS) for Semester 2.
Alberta Education funding guidelines require that students be registered in an Alberta Grade 1–12 school on September 29, 2025, and this requirement has not been met. Additionally, VVS is not permitted to charge tuition fees for Alberta students who were under 20 years of age on September 1 of the school year.
At this time, you may choose to:
Talk with your local school or school division about available learning options.
Review the Alberta Online Learning Directory to see if other schools are currently accepting students.
Explore post-secondary high school upgrading options, but ask whether completed courses will appear on your transcript.
Check back with VVS in April to see if eligibility for our summer program has changed.
Register with VVS for the 2026–2027 school year when registration opens in July.
