Logging in on Another Device
It is the recommendation of Pelham City Schools that students use a device that meets the following requirements to access instructional resources. This graphic shows the devices, software requirements, and other necessary tools for students to successfully access and complete instruction during remote and blended learning.

Logging into student's accounts on a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet

After turning on the device, open the Google Chrome browser.

2. Access the Clever website by entering clever.com in the omnibox.

3. In the blue rectangle in the top right corner, select Log in as a student

4. Type in the name of the student’s school in the box that says Type school name here and select the school from the list.
**Pay special attention to make sure you select the correct school that is located in Pelham, Alabama. There are multiple schools that start with the name Pelham around the country.

5. Click the icon that says Log in with Google.
Students will enter their PCS email address which begins with their 10-digit student number. This number begins with the numbers 19 or 20. Type 19.......@pelhamcityschools.org and select Next.
**K-2nd students can use their Clever badge or QR code if they have it.

6. Students will enter their password and select Next.
Kindergarten thru 5th grade students will use their birthday as their password typed as two-digit month, two-digit day, four-digit year MMDDYYYY.
Example: If a student's birthday is April 26, 2005 the password would be typed as 04262005
6th grade thru 12th grade students will use their student created password
**Note: If you have more than one student in your household using the same device, be sure that each student logs out of Google and Clever before the next student logs in.

7. The student's Clever homepage is where the student will access all instructional software.

What is Clever?
Clever is a single sign-on portal utilized by PCS that allows students to have secure access to instructional materials at school and at home. On your student’s home page there are links to Google Classroom, PCS instructional resources, and teacher recommended resources.
