Youth Music Illinois Audition Information
They have just opened up registration and will be accepting video auditions via unlisted YouTube link throughout the rest of the summer (but through June 15 for priority seating.)
You can find the audition requirements here for each of our ensembles, which range across all ages and skill levels.

Each Orchestra meets in Peoria once a week, and have concerts once a semester. This group has some of the best teachers and conductors in the area.
It does cost to join the groups. Although you can apply for scholarships.
YMI is audition based with four different levels - Dolce, Prep, Concert, and Youth Symphony.
If you have a motivated student, I highly suggest auditioning this Summer. Message your orchestra teacher for suggestions!
