Kyle Webb
Board President
My name is Kyle Webb and I have served on the Chesapeake School Board for 5 years. I have a wife, Shelby, of 12 years who teaches 2nd grade at Chesapeake Elementary. I have three children, Krew (10), Kree (8) Kane (5). My wife and I are both ‘09 graduates of Chesapeake and we bleed purple!! I received my Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2013 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marshall University in 2016. I currently work at The Vitality Center at UK KDMC where I work primarily in orthopedics and post operative care. When I think of “Panther Pride”, I think of community. Chesapeake is full of great people, from teachers, educational staff, and admins to parents, families and involved community members that show up and sacrifice/support daily to provide our kids with the opportunity to succeed in whatever they choose to be a part of. “Be the Change” is something I like to follow. We have a community full of people that don’t wait on others, but who themselves step up daily to make the positive changes they want to see for our kids. Go Peake!!

To me Panther Pride means to strive for excellence in everything… classroom, extracurricular or just in everyday life. Being a Panther means to show respect, take pride in yourself, your school, your town. Be supportive of one another, never give up and remember team work makes the dream work.
I am proud to be a board member because I wanted to give each student a platform to excel. I wanted to try to make a difference for the students, the staff and the administration. Serving on the board allows me to support polices and decisions to promote excellence. I believe Chesapeake has the best administration in our county and it has been an honor and privilege to work alongside them.

I attended and graduated from Chesapeake School District in 1974 and attended Liberty University. My wife, Vickie Hamlin and I proudly raised two children, Bridget and Justin Hamlin. We have two grandsons, Parker and Hudson Hamlin, who both attend Chesapeake Schools and are our pride and joy!
Being retired allows me to invest my time in what matters the most to me, our community, our schools and my church. I proudly answer to the titles of Coach and PawPaw by many kids as they are two of my favorite roles.
Four years ago, when I decided to run for the board of education, my desire was and continues today to act as a sounding board and voice for our community by acting in the best interest of our students. Our children are our future and deserve nothing but the best.
To me, Panther Pride means being honored to be a member of this small community that has a huge heart for family values, for all who contribute positively to our village and who work tirelessly to make the best life possible for today and tomorrow.
