VOKI links

November 2017

Students learned to use a new presentation tool called VOKI. To create a VOKI, students first had to create an avatar and then give voice to the avatar with text to speech technology. To make the avatar pronounce words correctly, some words needed to be spelled phonetically. Listen as these 'student' tell about their digital life using a simile.

Wow! Have we ever learned a lot! Did you know the race takes more than 8 days to complete? Did you know the start was moved to Fairbanks for lack of snow in Anchorage? Do you know why there is an Iditarod race? The answers to these questions and more were discovered in our study.

Here is the notebook each student used to help them in their quest for new knowledge.
