Fall is filled with fun activities!
Are you looking for some fall activities to do in your area? Here are some local events happening now or soon! These are some activities that we believe will interest you this fall season.
Topsfield Fair (October 3 - October 13th)
The Topsfield Fair is America's oldest county fair, established to promote and educate the community about agriculture; visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including traditional agricultural exhibits, farm animal interactions, live shows, agricultural displays, carnival rides, and games.
Brooksby Farm (9am - 5pm, Tuesday-Sunday)
Brooksby Farm is a 270-acre working farm and popular recreational spot in Peabody, MA, offering seasonal pick-your-own fruits, a farm store selling local products and baked goods, a petting zoo, and wooded trails for hiking.
Smolak Farms (7 am - 6pm, Monday-Sunday)
Smolak Farms is a working farm in North Andover, Massachusetts, that combines agriculture with education and entertainment, offering activities like pick-your-own fruit, hayrides, a playground, animal viewing, and seasonal festivals. Also, the farm includes a farm stand and bakery.
Boston Book Festival (10:00 am - 6:00 pm, October 25)
The Boston Book Festival is New England's largest public literary event, promoting a love of books and reading with a free, annual event in Copley Square that features keynote speakers, notable authors, book sales, music, and an outdoor fair.
Fall-o-ween Children's Festival (5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, October 17)
The Fall-o-ween Children's Festival is a free, family-friendly Halloween event in Boston hosted by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department at the Boston Common Frog Pond, featuring activities like a gaming truck, zombie maze, costume encouragement, arts and crafts, trackless train rides, and a glow-in-the-dark park.
Oktoberfest in Boston (Hours are dependent on the event)
Oktoberfest in Boston is a series of fall festivals celebrating German culture with beer, traditional food like bratwurst, live music and dancing, and family-friendly activities.
