The performance of Disney's Newsies performed by the Higgins Drama Club was extraordinary. The auditorium was full of parents and fellow students. When asked what they thought of the performance Ms. Lawrence said" Oh, I loved it!" Mrs. O'Connell also said, " It was beautiful, I am so proud of the students!" Safe to say, it was a little more than excellent.

This year 7th-grade band, 8th-grade band, 8th-grade chorus, and select choir are going to the great east festival. The great east festival is a chance for all these students to showcase their talent and what they have been working for. Each group will perform songs in front of judges and will be scored. Before awards, each group will work with one of the adjudicators in a mini clinic to work out some bumps in their pieces. Then each group will win an award. There are bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. After that, the groups will spend the day celebrating at Six Flags New England.
