With less than a month left of the school year here is what some of the 8th-graders said about the year and their middle school careers coming to an end.

Reflection on Middle School

Kendall Benvenuto, from Pisces, said she enjoyed exploratories the most because you can see people you know or meet new people from other clusters. 

Ty La Rocque, who is in Aquarius, loved making friends and getting to be in all the different types of music and performing arts. 

Sofia Deluca, in Gemini, enjoyed meeting people and making lifelong friends. Sabrina Batista, from Orion, said she loved all the fun field trips and being with friends. 

Danika Martin, in Pegasus, mentioned how she loved the amazing teachers she had and the friends she made!

Advice for incoming 8th graders 

Kendall and Ty both said to "try your best", Ty added to make sure to do your homework and stick with your friends. 

Sofia said to keep an open mind about which high school you want to go to and make sure you do your work. 

Sabrina and Danika said to not stress out too much. Danika mentioned that 8th grade is supposed to be a fun year and it is an easy year for a lot of people.

Thoughts on High School

Kendall said she is going to Peabody High and is nervous and excited. 

Ty said he is planning on going to Essex Tech and is a little sad because a lot of his friends are going to other schools. 

Sofia Deluca said she is going to Bishop Fenwick and is nervous and a bit sad that some of her friends are not going there. 

Sabrina said she is going to Essex Tech and is nervous and excited. 

Danika said she was feeling prepared about going to high school and will be going to Essex Tech.
