Oregon’s regional STEM Hubs are coming together to bring engaging, hands-on science and engineering learning ideas to educators across the state! Hands on science can be challenging to do and STEM Bites are designed to help. Each “Bite” can be done at home, in a classroom, or in a program space. Bites primarily use simple materials that classrooms and families already have or can readily acquire.
The STEM Bites are organized by grade band (K-2, 3-4, and 5-6). The collection includes explorations of our environment, engineering challenges, science investigations, observations and more!
Try one Bite with your learners, or try them all!
The PMSP Hub has an ever-growing lending library with STEAM materials that educators can check out. Each “Bite” can be done using materials from the PMSP lending library, or perhaps with materials in your regional HUB or classroom. STEM Bites/Bytes can be done at home, in a classroom, or in a program space.
The STEM Bites are organized by grade band (K-2, 3-4, and 5-6). Science, math, computer science, coding, writing, reading, and art are included in the lending library bites/bytes.
