Asma Abu-Khater: "Asma is diligent in proactively thinking through difficult challenges and bringing others together to try innovative new strategies for bringing others in to the Student Community Engagement Center. She has been incredibly reliable during our remote reality and has managed to bring our marketing to new heights despite the huge challenges of the pandemic."
Benjamin Turner: "Ben has been so committed to the PSU Food Pantry for the past 1.5 years. He is a good communicator and has brought his social work practice to the pantry in terms of how it functions, how they serve students, trying to incorporate an equity lens into the work, and advocating for BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ students most affected by food insecurity at Portland State."
Guinevere Lawrence: "She is incredibly communicative, perceptive, and curious. She's intuitive and great at working through problems. She has helped maintain a community within the board, even on the difficult online format."
