Amy Dang: "Amy Dang has been such an incredible addition to the Programming Board. She is creative and curious, coming up with new event concepts and seeking every opportunity for learning."
Ashley Kahl-Placek: "Ashley always goes the extra mile, especially when working with her teammates and communicating with event speakers. She has great management and problem-solving skills. It's been a true pleasure to work with her!"
Bailey Vetter: "Even though Bailey is a new leader, he has already demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities. He played an integral role in starting his student group, Business Analytics Club (BAC)."
Cambria Ort: "Cami worked tirelessly on the Social Sustainability Month oversight and event planning. They are incredibly socially responsible and justice oriented."
Daniel Anderson: "Daniel has been very active, involved, and passionate in leading the group. He has helped create an inclusive community for veterans at PSU."
Deborah Westlight: "Deborah is a new yet exceptional leader in International & Global Studies Student Association (IGSSA). She asked a lot of questions and wanted to understand, not only the "how" but also the "why" something was being done and had an eye for inclusive practices and programming from the beginning."
Hector Arredondo: "Hector is an FMA leader for recruiting members. He always has a positive attitude and brings positive vibes to the events and meetings held. Hector always goes above and beyond in everything he does."
Jeya Anandakumar: "Jeya is an outstanding leader. She had a huge positive impact in the student’s community."
Jayden Kepoʻo-Caspino: "From Pacific Islanders Club, Jayden Kepoʻo-Caspino, has undoubtedly displayed the ideal characteristics of a student leader! Being his first year as a student leader in addition to managing school AND a job AND his own photography business, Jayden really held his role as Social Media Chair and more! "
Madison Hill: "Madison has been extremely reliable as an employee in the PSU Food Pantry often taking on shifts last-minute. She is also involved in Anthropology Student Association, has applied for the OBC, and is interested in returning to work at the SALP front desk because she enjoys supporting students."
Makena Holland: "She is a fantastic leader who builds strong ties between people and elevates everyone around her. I know she'll be even better next year!"
Maile Sumile: "Although she is still in Hawaii while the rest of us are here in Portland, Maile has always turned in budgets on time even if there was a time difference. She always attended meetings and always put her 100% effort out there. She is very welcoming to new members."
Nicole Hubert: "In just her first year at the university, Nicole dove right into the deep end of student engagement and leadership. As a model leader with 2 SALP student organizations, and a leader with at a local student-run clinic, she has wasted no time in leading by example through selfless acts, civic engagement, and peer encouragement."
Robert Northman: "Robert is employed by the City of Portland's Office of Violence Prevention where he works to mentor other formerly incarcerated persons as a part of the City's pilot program known as the Portland Restoration Academy."
Vanessa Corral: "In her first year on the Programming Board, Vanessa has contributed to both our board's community and the universities as well. She collaborates with other members, creating well-organized, educational, and fun programs that are open to our community."
Danna Guzman: "Danna has demonstrated initiative and consistency throughout this remote year. She has been a key component in starting her student group and making sure they are meeting expectations and staying active!"
