Nomination Overview
Nominations are solicited from faculty, chairs and deans at the beginning of PSU’s Fall term. The deans approve completed nominations before they are submitted to a review committee. The committee comprises past winners, administrative leaders, and faculty from disciplines in Schools and Colleges across Portland State University. Typically, no more than one award is made in each category. Review committees may forego granting an award in any particular year.
Nominations for most research awards should be completed by 5 pm PT Friday, November 15, 2024 via the 2025 Research Awards Nomination Form. Nominations for the two Public Impact Awards are due Friday, December 6.
Submission Deadlines:
Name-only nominations should be submitted Monday, October 28, 2024 or sooner.
For Presidential Award nominees, the list of four external contacts must be submitted Monday, October 28, 2024 or sooner.
All nominations completed by end of day Friday, November 15, 2024 will be eligible for review.
