Linda A. Williams

Areas of Achievement:

Washington Trust Bank is proud to honor Linda A. Williams (Oregon Regional President) in Portland’s Walk of the Heroines.

As one of only two women who currently lead commercial banks in Portland and only one of six in the entire state of Oregon, Ms. Williams embodies the essence of leadership, professionalism, and commitment for current and future generations of young women.

Ms. Williams has been in the banking industry for over twenty-five years with expertise in all phases of private banking, commercial banking, and commercial real estate financing. Because of her significant contributions to Washington Trust Bank, Ms. Williams has continuously earned inclusion into the bank’s Million Dollar Circle Club.

In 2007, Ms. Williams was selected as one of the Portland Business Journal’s 2007 Orchid Award Winners, which recognizes twenty-five women from the Portland business community who have shown extraordinary leadership and accomplishment over the past year.

Not only does Ms. Williams excel in her professional life, but she is also highly dedicated to providing assistance to numerous charitable organizations and worthy causes in her private life—not just with contributions of dollars, but also with her time, energy, and leadership. She’s committed to helping the Portland community be a great place to live in, raise a family, and run a business.

Through her strong commitment to civic and philanthropic organizations in Oregon and Southwest Washington, Ms. Williams currently serves on the board of directors of Self Enhancement, Inc., the Oregon Sports Authority and its foundation, and the Oregon Symphony. She is a chair of the Arlington Club Finance Committee and is an advisory board member of Become X, a mentoring organization for young women. Ms. Williams is past chair of the YMCA of the Columbia-Willamette and a past trustee of the Multnomah Athletic Club and its charitable foundation.
