Why take law? NOT just to become a lawyer or a CSI! The law is much more than what we see on TV! It's not just about judges, lawyers, crime scene investigation, and courtrooms. The law tells us who we are and what we value as a society. Nothing has more impact on our lives, or is more relevant to our lives, than the law. It's concerned with learning how to find the truth and fight for justice. It's assists us in discovering ourselves and the world around us. Knowing about the law is not just for lawyers. Legal activity is the foundation of social change. The law has significance in many different careers, including forensic scientists, social workers, financial consultants, policy consultants for the United Nations, and even sports and entertainment agents. Have your say and learn how to speak for others! Discover and investigate current legal issues that are making the news in Canada and around the world! Participate in Moot Courts, debates, and a Mock International Criminal Court. Come learn about the law!
