This course examines the various cultural, artistic, political, economic and social effects that Western Europe had on the rest of the World from the time of the Black Death in Europe (c. 1350) to present. If you are interested in learning about people like DaVinci, Luther, Columbus, Louis XiV, Voltaire, Napoleon, and Karl Marx and about events like the Black Death, The Reformation, The Renaissance, The French Revolution, and many many more then this is the class for you. In a nutshell, this course is all about the cool history you haven't had a chance to learn in school until now. If you're a self professed "History Hater" and have only taken this course because it was the only thing that fit on your timetable, give me two weeks...I promise you'll be hooked.
