Course Description

This course investigates the history of humanity from the earliest times to the 16th Century. We will analyse diverse societies from around the world and discover how they have shaped the modern world. You will have the opportunity to get involved in tea ceremonies, archaeological digs, painting and even the Olympic Games. If you are interested in archaeology, mummies, warfare, art, architecture, Sparta vs Athens, or Greek Mythology then this is the course for you!

Course Activities Include

• Field Trip to the ROM, including behind the scenes access that will allow you to handle actual artefacts from the Greece, Rome, or Egypt!
• A variety of hands on learning; draw like an Egyptian, Chinese tea ceremonies, learn calligraphy and more!
• Become the archaeologist; excavate artefacts and solve the mysteries of the civilization!
• Virtual field trips to Ancient Rome, Egypt, Greece and many more powered by Google Expeditions!
• Escape room experiences powered by Breakout EDU
