The 8th grade Advanced Band will meet together with all students and instruments at the same time.  Some days,  the band will be in three different rooms with three directors for small group instruction.  The Advanced Band  attends multiple home football games in the fall. The Advanced Band will play their Holiday Concerts at the local elementary schools. Advanced band students may audition for all-region band in December, and participate in Solo & Ensemble in the spring.  The band will perform for their first Concert Assessment in March where they are judged as a band on how well they play four pieces of music.  In addition to performing at Concert Assessment, the Advanced Band has concerts in December, February and May.
