Representatives from the Board of Criminology of the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) visited PCCR on July 10, 2017 to conduct a one-day regular visit of schools offering criminology program. The team, composed of Board Members Hon. George Fernandez, Hon. Ruben Sta. Teresita, and Ms. Aurora H. Mendoza of PRC-SID, were gladly welcomed by the President and Chairperson Dr. Ma. Cecilia B. Lim.
After their courtesy call with the President, they toured around PCCR to check on the facilities of the school. In an interview and interaction with PCCR professors handling board subjects, headed by the Dean of the College of Criminology, Dr. Yolanda S. Lira, the team willingly shared valuable inputs on factors affecting the performance of the graduates in the board exam. They also emphasized that it is important for professors to keep themselves updated about the current trends in criminology, which includes landmark cases.
