Do we have class today?:
Strike Information
The teachers at PCC might go on strike. "Go on strike" means the teachers will not work. The teachers are not happy with the pay that PCC is offering them. The cost of living is more and more every year. PCC is not paying teachers enough for the cost of living. 94% of teachers say that if PCC doesn't pay them more, they will not work. If PCC doesn't offer the teachers more money before Wednesday March 11th, the teachers will go on strike at 10:30 am on Wednesday March 11th.
If we go on strike I cannot answer phone calls. I cannot answer emails. I will not go to work. Check this website everyday before class to see if we will have class or not: Strike Website. When the strike ends, I will also send you a text message and email you to let you know that classes are starting up again.
Spring term starts on March 30th. If the teachers are still striking on March 30th, we will not have class. Please check the Strike Website before class each day to see if we have class or not.
For more information about the strike look at this powerpoint: Are you going on strike? To practice English use our class website: Level 2: Integrated Skills (Winter)
