(JULY 21, 2025) Many people came to watch "Ten Tiny Dances" in Beaverton. The dancers performed on a very small stage. The stage was only 4 feet wide.
One family danced in Aztec style. They wore colorful clothes. They danced barefoot. The music came from drums. Each child showed one of the four elements: earth, water, fire, or air.
There were 10 short dances in the show. Dancers came from different cultures. For example, dancers were from Mexico, India, Ethiopia, and China. One woman said she likes to come every year to see dances from around the world.
This event started in 2002. It was in a small bar. Now it is in many cities. The stage is small. Dancers must move in new and creative ways. Some tell stories with their dance. The show celebrates culture and brings people together.
The photo and the video are from past years. They show examples of tiny dances in Beaverton.
