Oregon summers are hotter

(MAY 8, 2025) Summer in Oregon is warm. Often it is more than 90 degrees. What will be the weather this summer?

Rod Hill is a meteorologist. He studies weather. He says summers are hotter now than in the past.

How many days are hotter than 90 degrees? In the past, about 11 to 13 days each year. Now it's usually 23 days each year.

Hill believes more hot weather is coming this year. He believes we will have 22 to 31 days of weather above 90 degrees this year. He says 1 to 5 days will be above 100 degrees this summer.
