Reed College soon will give free tuition to some students. Their family must make $100,000 or less each year. The program's name is the Reed Promise.
Reed College already gives free tuition to students from Oregon and Washington. Now the college will give free tuition to students from all over the United States.
Students must be new to Reed College. They must prove family income. They must go to college every year without stopping. Their family cannot have a lot of extra money.
The college wants smart and curious students. The president of the college said this: Education can change lives. The college wants to help more people go to school.
