(MARCH 27, 2025) Portland has a new soccer team. Its name is Portland Bangers. The team plays in a league for college soccer players.
Portland Bangers has a pink and green logo. Its mascot is Saucy T. Sausage. Why? "Bangers" is British slang for "sausages". It has a different meaning in soccer. A "banger" is a really good goal from far away.
The first game is May 15, 2025. The team plays seven home games in Portland. The team plays at University of Oregon stadium in Portland.
