(NOVEMBER 7, 2024) The QDoc Film Festival is a documentary film festival. It focuses on LGBTQ+ stories. LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning, with the “+” symbol representing other diverse identities.
The festival returns to Portland's historic Hollywood Theatre in Northeast Portland from November 15 to 17, 2024. Audiences can enjoy three days of films that explore LGBTQ+ identity, history, art, and culture.
This year's lineup includes world premieres, U.S. premieres, and Oregon premieres. (A premiere is the first time a movie is shown.) Audiences can also meet directors and artists through Q&A sessions, introductions, and live performances.
Free tickets are available for young adults (23 and under) and seniors (75 and over). Other tickets are $10-$12 each, or $80 for a festival pass to see all films. Tickets are available online at http://www.qdocfilmfest.org.
