(JUNE 28, 2024) What is AI? It means artificial intelligence.
artificial = not natural; made by humans
intelligence = similar to brain and thinking
AI is a computer program. It works like a human brain. Many people use AI now. It helps do things more quickly and more easily.
But AI is very new. So it also makes mistakes. It causes problems. For example, sometimes AI gives wrong information.
Tina Kotek is the governor of Oregon. She is the leader of the state. She has a question: Should the state of Oregon use AI? How?
Kotek created a group. The group is studying AI for the state. The group will make suggestions.
People can listen. People can also make suggestions. Then the group will give a report in 2025.
