(MAY 16, 2024) Are shoes art? The Portland Art Museum says yes. In fact, it has a show with many sneakers.
The name of the show is "Future Now". There are about 60 shoes. There are many different kinds.
The shoes come from Bata Shoe Museum in Canada. Some are real. Some are not real. All are art, says the museum.
The show started March 29. The show ends August 11. Tickets for adults are $22 to $25. Tickets for children are free. The first Thursday of the month is free for everyone.
