Portland is one of the best cities for sleep
(FEBRUARY 29, 2024) Some people think Portland is a good place for sleep.
The Sleep Foundation made a survey. It talked to people in 75 U.S. cities. It asked people about sleep.
What did it learn?
The best place for sleep is Portland: 26.2% sleep less than seven hours a night
U.S.: 32.7% sleep less than seven hours a night
The worst place for sleep is Detroit: 45.6% sleep less than seven hours a night
Why? Here are some reasons.

air pollution
noise
unemployment
bedbugs
The government says adults 18-60 years old should get at least 7 hours of sleep each night.
