Ashland hosts Oregon Chocolate Festival

(FEBRUARY 29, 2024) The Oregon Chocolate Festival is happening in Ashland in Southern Oregon. It's for people who love chocolate. There will be more than 50 chocolate makers showing their chocolates. 

You can taste different chocolates and learn how they are made. There are family activities like a Chocolate Gnome Hunt and a Chocolate Costume Contest. There are also several chocolate demonstrations, such as:

• Bean to bar chocolate 

• Ceremonial cacao and ancient chocolate traditions

• What is a cacao pod and its seeds? How does it relate to your favorite chocolate bar?

• Chocolate & beer pairing 

• Learn how to make Viennese chocolate baguette

The Oregon Chocolate Festival is March 2-3, 2024 at the Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites in Ashland. Tickets cost $25 for one day or $40 for both days. Kids under 8 can attend for free. There's also a special run called Charlie’s Chocolate Run on March 3rd.
