A special event has music and culture of Oregon
(JANUARY 18, 2024) Do you like music? Do you like Oregon? You can see both at a special event in Florence, Oregon.
The name of the event is "Oregon Origins Projects II: Seven Wonders". It uses music to learn about the ancient roots of Oregon. A string quartet will play music. After the music, a geologist will talk. Then there will be a presentation about Native American culture.
The event is free, but donations will help to save the Oregon dunes (beaches with hills made of sand).
The event is Friday, February 9. It begins at 7:00 PM. It is at the Florence Events Center.
