Silver Falls State Park has a new trail
(AUGUST 4, 2023) Silver Falls is a state park near Salem, Oregon. It has 10 waterfalls. It is very popular.
Now the park has a new trail. The trail is about a half mile. It leads to a nice spot where visitors can see North Falls.
The trail is wide. It rises slowly. People in wheelchairs can also enjoy it.
There are picnic tables. There is easy parking. There are also restrooms.
The park manager hopes this new area helps with crowds.
The park will continue to make things better. There are plans for a new campground. There are plans for a visitors center, too.
