Oregon has the only Bigfoot trap in the world

(NOVEMBER 11, 2022) Legends are old stories. Usually they are not true. But legends are fun to share.

The story of Bigfoot is a legend. A Bigfoot is a large creature. The legend says Bigfoot lives in the forests of Oregon, Washington, and parts of Canada.

A Bigfoot is like an ape. It's also a lot like a human. It has human hair. It walks on two legs, and it leaves big footprints.

Most people believe Bigfoot is only a legend. However, in 1974, a man built a Bigfoot trap in Southern Oregon. The man tried to catch a Bigfoot. He left dead animals in the trap as food. He tried six years. He caught only bears.

The trap doesn't work now. The National Forest Service made it safe. Hikers visit the trap for fun. But they probably still look and listen carefully for Bigfoot in the forest.
