(JUNE 24, 2022) ESOL News Oregon is celebrating its birthday. It is four years old! The website started July 19, 2018. Now it has 500 stories. In fact, this story is #500.
Every week there are three new stories: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Every story has a picture or video. Every story also has exercises to check what you know. Some stories even have audio. Everything is free for both students and teachers.
Volunteers make this website. An ESOL teacher at Portland Community College writes the stories. His name is Tim Krause. Other PCC teachers record audio. Their names are Davida Jordan and Eric Dodson.
