Meet "Mr. Tall Portland"
(APRIL 8, 2022) Portland has many clubs. There are book clubs. There are garden clubs. There are many different kinds of clubs. But did you know there is also a club for tall people?
The Portland Skyliners Club is for tall people. Men must be at least 6 feet, 2 inches tall. Women must be at least 5 feet, 10 inches tall.
The club is for fun. Tall people like to meet other tall people. They share information, such as where to buy clothes.
The club also has a special event. It gives an award. They call the award "Mr. Tall Portland."
The winner is Mark Burnett. He also won last year. He is 6 feet, 6 inches tall. He will represent the club at special events all year. He hopes more tall people will join the club.
