Oregon State Fair returns

(AUGUST 1, 2021) The Oregon State Fair returns August 27 through September 6, 2021.

The fair began in 1861. Last year, it was an "e-fair" ("e" for "electronic"). This year it will be in person again. It is in Salem.

Masks are not required. Physical distancing is not required. Vaccination is not required.

There is a lot to do at the state fair. Visitors view agricultural exhibits, such as plants and animals. They go to concerts. They enjoy a carnival with rides and food.

Tickets are $1 to $8. Rides, concerts, and food are extra.
