Portland's Cat Rapper is now on Netflix
(JULY 11, 2021) People have unusual hobbies in Portland. For example, one man sings about his cats. The man's nickname is Moshow. He is popular on YouTube, and now he is on a new Netflix TV show, too.
Moshow's real name is Dwayne Molock. And he really likes cats. He has five cats at home.
Several years ago, he made a video. In the video, he gave his cat a bath. He started rapping to keep his cat calm.
"Rap" is a special kind of singing. Rhyme and rhythm are important. Words rhyme when they sound alike. Rhythm is changing speed.
Many people watched the video. Moshow became really popular on YouTube. He writes books and performs at big events. Now Moshow is part of a new TV show. It is called "Cat People." You can watch it on Netflix.
