Portland buses, trains, and streetcar are free July 3-5

(JUNE 26, 2021) July 4 is Independence Day. It is a holiday. It is the birthday of the United States.

Many people celebrate. Some people go to a park. They play games. They have a picnic.

Others go to a concert. Or they watch fireworks. Many visit friends and neighbors.

Some people use public transportation. They do not drive a car. Instead, they ride a bus, MAX train, or Portland Streetcar.

Those people will not need a ticket on July 3, 4, or 5. Buses, MAX trains, and the Portland Streetcar are free those days.
