This is a mule. Another mule named Hickory went for help after its owner fell off.
(APRIL 5, 2021) A man was riding his mule last week. They were in Milo McIver State Park. That park is in Clackamas County near the city of Estacada.
The man fell off the mule. He was hurt. The mule walked on the trail. It found two people. It led the people to the man.
The people called 911 for help. The mule left. The man got help, but no one found the mule until the next day.
The mule is home again. The man is better, but he is still in the hospital.
