Governor orders schools to open

(MARCH 8, 2021) Governor Kate Brown gave a new order. Public schools must open again. They must have in-person classes. Or they must have hybrid classes. (Hybrid classes are a combination of studying online and in person).

      • For students in grades K-5: classes in person must begin by the end of March 29

      • For students in grades 6-12: classes in person must begin by April 19

Some students have health problems. They might not want to study in person. They can continue to study online.
