(JANUARY 18, 2021) Portland's airport is 80 years old.
People like to travel through Portland's airport. Its name is PDX. It has won many awards. Now PDX is making more changes.
The main building is the terminal. Travelers buy tickets. They check luggage. They eat, drink, and shop. They wait for their flights. They get on and off planes at the terminal.
Soon the terminal will look different. The new design will remind travelers of nature. For example, there will be many plants and windows with a lot of light.
The terminal will be bigger. However, it will use 50% less energy. The work will finish in 2025.
