More rules to slow COVID-19

(NOVEMBER 15, 2020) More people in Oregon are sick. They have COVID-19. So the governor gives new rules.

She calls the rules a "freeze." It starts November 18. It ends December 2 for some places. Other places end later.

• Friends and family meet in smaller groups. There can be no more than six people from no more than two homes.

• There are fewer people in stores.

• There are fewer people in churches.

• Gyms, museums, and movie theaters must close.

• Restaurants and bars have takeout only.

• People work from home if possible.

• People travel less.

There are no changes for schools or personal services, such as hair salons.
