People in Multnomah County vote on a new tax for the library
(OCTOBER 18, 2020) November 3 is Election Day.
Voters make many choices.
People in Multnomah County vote about the library.
The library wants money.
It wants to enlarge (make bigger) eight libraries.
It wants to modernize (add technology) eight libraries.
It wants to build a new library in East County.
It wants to add fast internet to all libraries.
This is a new tax.
If voters say "yes," then homeowners pay around $200-$400 per year.
If voters say "no," then there is no new tax.
