Register to vote by October 13

(SEPTEMBER 19, 2020) November 3 is an election day in the United States. Citizens make many important decisions:

      • People in the U.S. choose the president of the country and other government leaders.
      • People in Oregon decide four questions:
              • money in elections
              • cigarette tax
              • mushrooms for medicine
              • drug crimes
      • People in Portland choose a new mayor.

Voters in Oregon must be:

      • a U.S. citizen
      • a resident of Oregon
      • 18 years or older

People in Oregon vote by mail. First they register to vote. The deadline is October 13, 2020. They can register online:
